Wefts sewn onto a cornrowed base for a secure, natural-looking install that holds for weeks. No glue, no bonding — just proper braiding and precise stitching.

A sew-in weave begins with your natural hair cornrowed flat into a base pattern designed for the look you want. Wefts of hair are then stitched onto those cornrows with needle and thread. Nothing is glued and nothing is bonded, which is exactly why a properly executed sew-in is one of the most protective ways to wear added hair.
The braided foundation determines everything. Rows placed wrong and the weave sits lumpy; braided too tight and the tension shows at the hairline within days. Because our San Diego team braids for a living, the cornrow base under our sew-ins is built with the same care as a finished cornrow style — which is what makes the finished weave lie flat and feel secure.
Stitched onto braids rather than adhered to your hair or scalp, so removal is clean.
The cornrow base is built by braiders, which is why the finished weave lies genuinely flat.
A well-stitched install holds firmly through washing, workouts and daily wear.

Keep the braided base clean — wash every one to two weeks, working shampoo down the parts to the cornrows underneath, and dry thoroughly to prevent mildew. Oil the exposed scalp along the tracks. Book removal at six to eight weeks rather than stretching it, since new growth loosens the base and puts strain on the stitching.

Not when the base is braided with correct tension and the install is removed on time. There is no glue involved, so nothing is stripped at removal.
